Dr. Stewart’s goal is to diagnose problems with jaw growth and dental development while children still have baby teeth present in order to prevent serious problems from developing and minimize any long term effects. She follows the guideline from the American Association of Orthodontists by recommending that children receive their first orthodontic evaluation in our office at age 7. Intercepting orthodontic problems whenever your child has baby teeth present and jaw growth remaining allows Dr. Stewart to achieve ideal orthodontic outcomes as comfortably and efficiently as possible.
